As a Shift Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and installing crucial systems within our Data Centers. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections, performing repairs, and ensuring the continuous functionality of equipment. You’ll work independently, reporting back to supervisors upon completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct maintenance procedures, regular checks, and routine inspections on equipment, collaborating with the maintenance team.
– Ensure the continuous operation of installed systems, undertaking repairs and minor works as necessary.
– Enhance service delivery through best practices and effective utilization of site systems and equipment.
– Conduct personal risk assessments for maintenance and repair activities.
– Manage stock levels, audit spares requirements, and order parts in a timely manner.
– Ensure all work, including that performed by contractors, complies with CBRE site Health & Safety procedures.
– Maintain plant rooms to the highest standards.
Requirements:
– Relevant Technical Qualifications.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.
– Recognized Apprenticeship.
– Previous experience in similar building environments/businesses.
– Strong communication skills.
Role Specifics:
The Data Center operates 24/7, requiring flexibility in responding to operational needs. Shift work will be part of the job, details of which will be communicated by the Management Team.
