We’re excited to announce a remote opportunity for a skilled 3D Design Draughtsman in collaboration with a growing Belgian company specializing in bespoke construction. This role, based in Stellenbosch, South Africa, offers the flexibility to work remotely.
We’re in search of an experienced Draughtsman (CAD Designer) proficient in utilizing 3D drafting software like TopSolid, Solidworks, etc. Your primary responsibility will involve creating production files for custom projects, starting from 3D models.
Responsibilities / Tasks:
– Create detailed part drawings and assembly drawings based on 3D models.
– Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) for production processes.
– Engage in custom projects across various sectors, focusing on steel structures and sheet metal.
– Ensure precision and quality in all production documentation.
– Develop parametrized models in the drafting package.
– Design 3D steel structures based on architectural drawings/briefings.
Your Profile:
– Possess relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., National Diploma in Engineering or similar).
– Hold 2-3 years of relevant experience.
– Proficiency in 3D drafting software (Solidworks, TopSolid, Tekla).
– Extensive expertise in creating part drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
– Experience working with steel structures and sheet metal.
– Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
