The Empact Group is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper (In-Unit) to join their team in Cato Ridge. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of all functions within a set budget and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
– Execute daily capturing using the Worksmart system accurately and efficiently.
– Perform general administrative duties such as typing and filing.
– Conduct weekly and monthly stock takes and capture results.
– Assist with managing debtors and creditors.
– Spot check depot stock-takes when required.
– Handle cash ups and banking responsibilities.
– Order daily stock items and maintain adherence to par levels.
– Capture data and assist with monthly price and purchasing code changes.
– Process claims in a timely manner and confirm prices with suppliers.
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
– Matric
– A qualification in Business Administration is advantageous.
– At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
– Customer relations experience.
– Minimum of 1 year experience working on WorkSmart.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
– Excellent communication skills.
– Strong organizational and planning skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
– Financial acumen and management skills.
– Familiarity with Worksmart.
